Thank god it’s friday! Especially as it’s the start of a long weekend here. Yipee!

This week I have come across a mix of beauty and fashion inspiration with these blogs:

Drool over the gorgeousness that is Jules, from Sincerely Jules and check out the gorgeous lip colour she is wearing in her post Beach Brites

I wish I went to RAFW, and I wish I could have had outfits half as cool as Jess from Tuula Vintage – ahh well a girl can keep dreaming

25fLONDON has finally got her hands on the Jemma Kidd Rose Gold Dewy Glow, and finds that it is a close dupe for the Dior Amber Diamond Highlighter

Last Friday I attended the Brisbane Blogger meet at Illamasqua, read all about it over at the Illamasqua blog

I think it’s about bloody time I get a Chanel lipstick, and Roseanne has cemented that fact even more with her post on the gorgeous Chanel Rouge Allure Lipstick in Super

Stacey at Add to Cart blog shows off her awesome Sephora Haul… so jealous!!

So Happy Friday hautees and I hope you all have an awesome weekend!

Till next time…

Liebster Blog Award

17 May

What am I cheering about? Well, I have been awarded the Liebster Blog award by the gorgeous Haute and Stylish. Yayyy! Thank you Anni.

So what is it? The Liebster Blog Award is designed to bring well deserved additional recognition to those bloggers with less than 300 followers. If you receive the award you link back to the blogger that nominated you and nominate 3 more blogs.

So firstly, thank you to Annica from Haute and Stylish, who awarded me with the Liebster Award. Go check out her blog, she’s such a gorgeous thing and can do a mean winged eyeliner!

And here are my nominations for three lovely blogs run by three lovely girls, that are all deserving of the Liebster Blog Award:

Yolanda from Shopping Intervention – her blog is the best to check out when being thrifty and you want to know where you can get your cheap beauty fix. Great honest reviews, and great hauls (she shares my love of Priceline) she’s the budget beauty buy queen. Oh, and I love the fact that she will walk all over the city with me to find a place that serves Gyoza dumplings to satisfy my dumpling cravings! hehe.

Melinda from Mumma In Heels – I’ve loved Melinda’s blogging ever since she was over at ‘The Girl In Red Heels’, and now at Mumma In Heels (which will soon be mummainheels.com). We both share a love of The Kardashians, and I just adore the pics of her lil’ man ‘Pacman’ Preston. She does a great mix of celebrity, beauty and mummy related blog posts.

Eleanor from Days Like This – I love when I can just start talking to someone (over twitter) and it feels like you have been friends for ages (which was the case with Eleanor, she is soooo kind), and El has a cute blog with awesome imagery, beauty posts mixed in with personal posts, informative posts and even interviews.

So there you have it, thanks again Anni, another award to tuck under my belt… (bahahaha don’t I sound like a big shot, kidding). Please go check out these blogs mentioned, and share the BLOG LOVE!!!!

Jaime at Miss Chew shows us the Sara Happ “The Lip Scrub” she got in Red Velvet flavour – and Oh Em Gee I want it… I’m a massive fan of the actual red velvet cupcakes and I could just imaging how good this would smell.

Gorgeous Emily over at Emily’s Anthology shows us a “smoking” hot purple smokey eye using NYX Morocco eyeshadow… LOVE. Makes me want to do a purple smokey eye on the weekend.

Lilit from Makeup and Macaroons shows us her favourite matte coral blushes and has me lemming for M.A.C blush in Melba.

Well that’s it from me… hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. I am off to an advanced screening of the movie Rio tomorrow at Dreamworld (SQUEE). I have been wanting to see this movie so bad (yes I realise it’s a kids movie – the BEST kind). Don’t know what the hell I’m talking about?

Happy Friday peeps! I don’t know about you but I am so ecstatic that it’s finally Friday! Bring it on! I am heading off tonight with the beautiful Annica from Haute & Stylish to a Laneway Catwalk show in the Valley called Stiletto in the Ghetto! Should be fun (if the rain holds off). I am also looking forward to dumplings… yumm.

Here I share a bit of link love for some bloggers that have done some awesome posts over the week:

Jade from Jade Musing shows us some swatches and a FOTD using some hot new products from the Illamasqua Toxic Nature collection.

Holly from Am I There Yet shows us her glowy skin and va-va-volumious hair which she achieved with these new products.

Go and check out what Jess from Miss J Shopaholic is up to… she’s had a makeover/transformation from Illamasqua and does a great video on her glowy makeup routine!

Lilit from Makeup and Macaroons shows us her mini MAC haul and photos from her lunch/dessert date with Jade from Jade Musing.

Clare from Cclarebear.com gives us a bit of a teaser of the new Flare lipstick from the Illamasqua Toxic Nature collection.

Jacie over at You’ve Got Nail shows us her cute as haulage and makes me want to do a trip to Melbourne asap!

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I haven’t got much planned… catching up on blogging and maybe a spur of the moment dinner outing?? I am babysitting my little sister on saturday night and I am going to take that time to slip back to my childhood and get her up to speed on some good ol’ Disney classics – Beauty and the Beast and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs! Ahhh bliss.

What’s your favourite Disney movie? I can’t choose just one… I think Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin are up there for me.
